yeah, so i don't like how after christmas everyone rushes to gather up old pictures and old memories for the new years because i tried doing that and making a slideshow after i saw natalie's but i'm just not that capable of something like that. :) so i told myself i'd make a scrapbook for future references and i'm just gonna jot down a few thoughts about 2006 and of course, my resolutions.

so 2006...overall not a bad year. a lot of first's and a couple last's. let's start with some memories...

so this year...was one full of great memories, like all years are. it was a downer year for my spiritual life because i feel that my commitment to the church has weakened. but that's why it's one of my resolutions. it was a mediocre year for my love life because i did meet someone who was and still is amazing to me when i liked him. but most of all i made a lot of new friends, learned from even more mistakes, and continud trying to live my life to the fullest. :) so here are my resolutions...

» strengthen/reestablish my faith with God
» get good grades
» be on the computer maybe an hour per day
» eat more carrots
» watch my weight
» clean up my mouth cause i curse so much
» stop being a bitch to those who don't deserve it :)
» help my parents more with chores around the house
» spend more time with my family

it's a lot but those are my resolutions! :) hope yall have a great new years and see you in 2007!!!!!

two very important birthdays over the holiday...

happy sweet sixteen!! i can't believe all of us are turning 16 now, it's freakin sweet! :) by spring break, we'll all be taking a road trip!! wahoo!! wow, we've had so many  fun times and priceless moments together, it's just great. summer league (mr. brightside in the bathroom, six-person relay, bball at the sherwood party), san antonio '06 (mid-convo poltergeist, disco hats, indian guy from bombay), renaissance fest, mall with julian and patrick (by the way, who would have thought going to the mall with two guys would actually be fun haha), all those fun times at sam's, and sooo many more. but the most important thing is our relationship. ever since it first started in middle school, it's been amazing watching it grow. you're always there for me... especially during all those really hard times for me... you just let me come on over and cry on your shoulder. and you always stand up for me in chemistry when everyone always makes fun of me, haha. and you always put up with me... despite the wrong choices i've made (about certain...guys...hah) and how i obsess and worry and get jealous and all my horrible habits. you put up with it all. and i have to say that's quite an accomplishment. :) you are such an incredible person and i could never ask for anything more in a best friend. i love you to death!!

juliannn! i freakin love you! :) and you're finally sixteen!! now you can drive me places for the next three weeks until my birthday. :) so where do i begin? well, i know i never tell you this, but i guess you're pretty awesome. :) and you're one of my best guy friends. :) i have so many memories with you too... let's start with the most recent one... carrying that staff from sam's back to my house. oh wow, that was amazing. and pretty embarassing too. hah. what else... mall with you, ali, and patrick (which i already mentioned up there but oh well), and thespian initiation... oh goodness. that was so crazy. and just other stuff that i can't think of. but what i love about our relationship is how we can just make fun of each other and joke about it, cause we're just that awesome. and i know i get mad at you sometimes when you're trying to help me with my homework, but that's just my temper being stupid. :) you're always cheering me up, making me laugh...especially when i'm really sad about something. oh and i have to thank you because you introduced me to dane cook, and wow, he's like 90% of the laughter in my day now, haha. but yeah, just...thanks...for always being there. i know i don't always come to talk to you about stuff, but when i do, you just give me what you have, and tell me that i need to chill because everything's going to be okay. that's pretty darn assuring right there. anyway, hope you had a good birthday. :)

well, i hope everyone else had a nice weekend. now it's time to make that final push of the 2006 year... oh wow, it's passing by so quickly. i'll post up december events soon!
